We Would like to inform you that the Department of Defence Production, The Ministry of Defence and Government of India has developed a portal named srijandefence.gov.in.
The main objective of the portal is to partner with the private sector in the indigenization efforts of Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs), DPSUs shall display the items on this portal that they have imported or are going to import.
The portal shall also display those items that have been planned and will be planned together in the coming years for indigenization (domestic manufacturing).
Government e-Marketplace (GeM) is India’s online procurement platform that provides a transparent and efficient marketplace for Government buyers to procure goods and services. It simplifies the procurement process, promotes fair competition, and enables small businesses to participate in government tenders.
